On Friday 30th August, Victorian electrical and communication businesses gathered at the NECA Victoria Business Excellence Awards at Crown Palladium. The NECA Awards are the electrical and communications industry’s highest accolade and one of the most prestigious awards programs in Australia.
With the latest statistics from Safe Work Australia indicating that there are still 1 in every 12 workers losing at least one week of work as a result of a workplace injury, DMS Electrical are proud to be demonstrating what it takes to run a business that is safe.
“A workplace should prioritise the health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) of all its workers and stakeholders. It’s everyone’s responsibility to keep the workplace safe.” – Daniel Sternberg, Director DMS Electrical.
“Since implementing our customised HSEQ system, and then inducting all our employees in this system we have seen an increase in OHS conversation around the workplace. Employees feel comfortable to talk about how we can continue to keep everyone safe.” – Kellie Sternberg, Business Manager DMS Electrical.
As a winner in the NECA Victoria Business Excellence category, DMS Electrical Contracting Group are now shortlisted in the national NECA Awards taking place in November 2024.
This win comes off the back of DMS Electrical Contracting Group being recognised as one of three finalists in the Trade Business Award in Ballarat’s local Commerce Awards.
